Arizona Trip

So yesterday...well technically this morning, i got back from Arizona. It was fun, especially the shopping part, but i'm so glad to be home! I've recently discovered that if i'm away from friends too long, i tend to freak out and want to go back home. I guess you could say i'm addicted to them ha ha. The weather there was so hot. It was torture, especially having to run in it. I'm grateful St. George isn't as hot as that. Anyway, more soon!

Civitan

This week i went to a seminar called Civitan. My friend Timber wanted me to go, so i did. The first day I wanted to leave so bad. I didn't know anyone besides Timber, and i thought everyone was weird. Well, i was wrong. By the end of the week i had made so many new friends, and i was so sad to leave. I'm so glad i went to Civitan, because now i have made a lot of new friendships. I'm sad that i can't go anymore, because i'm graduated. But the things i learned there will definitely stay with me.

So basically i'm in love with Bon Jovi. I remember i wanted his cd so bad when i was in eighth grade and i eventually got it for christmas.

I want to go to his concert so bad but unfortunately he's not going to be playing anywhere near here for a while. This shirt i posted is the one i'm going to get, and i am way excited!

Change....

So today my best friend Ariel moved. She's going up north for hair school, and she could be up there for a couple years. It was so hard to see her leave. She's visiting next week, and i'll be driving up there often to visit, but not seeing her everyday is going to be difficult. We were always together, a package deal. We've had so many fun memories and experiences. Not to mention we're both crazy, so hopefully she can make friends.....ha ha jk. Well Ariel if you're reading this i LOVE you very much and i hope you have a lot of fun up there. FOR NARNIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weird

When i was younger, i was weird. Still am actually. While other kids were watching Barney, I watched In Living Color with Jim Carrey. When other girls wanted to grow up to be princesses or ballerinas i wanted to be a horse. (When i was about five I realized I couldn't achieve this so it's not a problem anymore). Throughout the years I've been amazed at how great of friends I've somehow been able to acquire. They've stuck by my side with my constant stupidity and flaws, and i feel they should be recognized for their friendships.

Timber is the friend that i've known for the longest. She's random and outgoing i swear there's no one like her. Never a dull moment!

Ashley is the sweetest and selfless person i know. She's always willing to do whatever, just to make you happy.

Casidee is my chicka for life. She has my back no matter what and is always there for me.

Alison is great because she's so unique and is awesome all around. She's so funny and can always make me laugh.

And finally Ariel. I don't know what i would do without this girl. She is so friendly and cares about her friends so much. She's definitely a great influence in my life.

Seeing all of these people on this page is starting to make me overwhelmed with gratitude and love for them, so if you'll excuse me, I think i'm going to go lie down and cry for a bit.

It's all over

For so many years now I've been anxious to graduate. The long school days and piles of projects and homework seemed endless to me. On Thursday I graduated high school, and it surprised me how sad I was that it was over. It made me realize that a lot of the time we don't appreciate what we have until it's gone, even when in the moment it seems like a torturous experience we have to endure. Now that i'm finished, I have the rest of my life to look forward to. There are a lot of things I want to do, but I don't know if I'll have the time or patience to do it all. I might go to college, and if I do I'd want to major in Journalism. I want to go to Police Academy (yeah go ahead, laugh it up), to become an animal cop. I'm so confused as to what to do, but the good thing is I have the rest of my life to figure it out.
